Chapters 5-6: BIlly gets some dogs!
Billy finally got some dogs! Today your question is pretty simple but as you answer it I really want you to put some thought into it. The question is; If you got to name a new pair of dogs, what choice of names would you have made? Explain why.
As you answer this question, I want you to really think about the names that you would give them and why? The names should not only work together but there should be a higher meaning to them, not just that you used to have a dog named that, or you like the name. Really get into why you would name them the way you would. Below is an example of what my answer to this question would look like. Use it as an example but don’t use the same names.
If I got to name a new pair of dogs my first thought to name them would be to name one of them Safe and name the other one Spot. I think this would be funny but I don’t think those names are as meaningful as Billy’s names for his dogs were. There have been two times in my life where I have been amazingly touched by nature’s beauty. The first was when I was at the beach in Pensacola, Florida. I was there playing baseball and one night I walked down by the water and just sat there. It was amazing; the only sound was the waves. Because of this I would name one of the dogs Atlantic. I would name the other doge Pike for Pikes Peak. When I was in Colorado, I took a hike in Garden of the Gods Park and went to a place where you could look up at Pikes Peak through a natural rock formation. I was the only one around. It was so completely different from the ocean but also amazing. It was completely silent. The air was slightly chilly but the sun was warm. These are two of my favorite and most beautiful places I have ever been. Because of that, I would name my dogs Atlantic and Pike.- Mr. Kelsey

I always can’t find good names for dogs, so some of these names you probably won’t like. I really like singing, so I could probably name one of my dogs Mic. Also, I love music, and I play piano and I used to play guitar, so I could name a dog Piano. Or, I could possibly name one Guitar, although I don’t like it as much as Piano. I know, they’re really bad names, but they will have to do for now. I am not the best person to name animals, but I’m okay. Maybe I could name one of my dogs Instrument. That would be cool. I also like dancing, so I could name the girl Dancer. All of these are my hobbies, so all of these names mean a lot to me. If you have a better name for the dogs, please post it on my blog! And, if you know a way to say bye in another language besides Spanish, English, and French, then please tell me! Adios, ciao, and bye!

If I had two dogs just like those I would name the boy dog, Raccoon. Because Raccoons are sneaky, strong, brave, and they also like to get into trouble. Also because his breed of dog is a Coon. I would also name the little girl dog, Little Red. I would name her that because she is little, she is a RED Coon Hound, and also because in the story even though Little Red Riding Hood is cute, she still chooses not to follow the rules. So they would be Little Red and Raccoon!

If I got a new pair of dogs I would name one Bow and the other Arrow. I would because I don’t have any dogs with those names and if you put them together it would be bow and arrow. Also I love shooting shoot my bow. Because I always shoot mine when I’m at my Grandmas. So that’s my why I would namemy two dogs Bow and the other Arrow.

If I could choose a name for two new dogs I would name the boy dog Hunter, because I would want my boy dog to have a manly and still cute name. I would name the girl dog Daisy, because I love daisies and it is a nice girly name. That is why I would choose Hunter and Daisy. I also think that both names fit together so perfectly

Well if they were the same puppies as Billy’s then I would have named the boy rascal and the girl princess. I would have named the boy rascal because he likes to get into things and is really energetic so that is how I choose the name rascal. I would have named the girl princess because she acts like a princess and when ever she gets scared she always goes with her big brother. That is why I would name the girl princess. Hope*

If I ever got a new pair of dogs I would name them Dexter because that is the puppy I have now and pepper because it is a red hound and they are red. The other two names I would have named my dogs is Dext, because that is what I sometimes call my dog and the girl dog would be Marce, and my cats real name is Marcy.

If I got new dogs their names would be as thoughtful as Billy’s names were like if it was a girl it would be little Susie or if it was a boy it would be old red or Toby. That’s the names that I would name my new dogs if I got any pups. But I would name them very carefully but I love those names.

If I got some dogs and I named one Rocky and the other one Flower because rocks are hard and solid and it’s just like rocky the movie. I would have named the other one Flower because flowers are beautiful and graceful.

If I got a new pair of dogs I would name them, Gwen if one was a girl and if one was a boy I would name it Mason. I would do that because Gwen is my sister’s name and I would name my boy dog Mason because Mason is my sister’s best friend, and my sister is really important to me so that’s another reason and mason is really fun to play with so there’s another one for mason. That’s why I would name my dogs Gwen and Mason.

If I got dogs what would I name them, well for one of them I would name it Tuffy but Tuff for short and that Tuffy would be the boy dog. Why would I name him Tuffy is because I like the name and because hopefully the boy dog would be the stronger of the two and Tuffy would mean that well he is Tuff. And for the girl dog I would name her Spot because like little Ann hopefully she is the smarter of the two and she would be able to Spot things that Tuffy wouldn’t be able to see.

The names I would name my two new pups would be Salt and Pepper. I would name my dogs those names because those two seasonings for roast when I eat, makes my roast taste really good. I also like those names because they go together just like Dan and Ann. So that’s why I would name my two new dogs those names.

If I got to name two new puppies I would name the boy puppy Hunter because he would like to hunt and would be filed with enegery. I would name the girl puppy Pride because she would be filled with pride and joy and would like to play with the other puppy.

If I got myself some pups I think I would name them Grace and Connor, those names are names of twins in Cryptid Hunters which is my favorite book of all times. That would be my first choice my second choice would be Jim and Becky because those are my parents names.

If I got to choose the name of two dogs I would probably name one of them Ozark, because my family and I used to live in the Ozark mountains. The other would be Arky, because I was born in Arkansas.

If I ha two dogs they would be named Daytona and Penny. The reason why I picked these two names because Daytona is my favorite beach . And I picked penny because when I was little I would always pick up pennies thinking they were good luck and I still do.

I think if I got two pairs of dogs that I think I would name one of them Grandpa Jones and the other after me because I love the name Jake because a lot of my favorite TV shows have the name Jake and the other one I would name grandpa Jones was because he was like my best family member I had I didn’t know him as much because he died when I was about 2 years old I remember the first present I had ever opened when I was 2 was from my grandpa and it was great.

If I had two dogs one of the names would be Hunter and scout. I Choose hunter because to me it means brave and I am brave. I choose Scout because I am a boy scout.

If I got a new pair of dogs, I would name them Millie, and Fluke. I would name the first dog Millie, because to me the name Millie, when I hear that name, I really know that the dog is a girl. I would pick Fluke for the second dog because, there’s this one movie, about a little pup, and his family gets captured by the animal shelter. So he goes looking for them. That movie means a lot to me. I have a dog that looks just like the character of the movie, and I named my puppy Fluke. I would also name my dogs Polar, and Sandy. I would name my dog Polar, because when I think of polar, I think of polar bears, and when I think of polar bears, I think of snow, and I love snow. I would also name my dog Sandy because the name Sandy sounds happy to me.

I would name my dogs Chock Chock and Princess. I would name it Chock Chock because I had a dog named Chock Chock and where ever I went it fowled me and it was one of my favorite dogs I had and it would play with me. I would name my other dog princess because I had a dog named princess and when I had a dog named princess it would listen to me and play with me. That’s why I would name my dogs Chock Chock and Princess.

If I got new pups I would probably name them by their charsterisics, or personalities. Like if they were brave maybe Hero or something like that. But if I had to them by something I like Slash because he’s one of the people from my favorite band. And the other Rowell because that’s my coins name that never get to see because they live in Texas.

If I ever got to name two dogs I would name them Snoopy and Linus because my name my is Charlie Brown and in that show Linus is Charlie brown’s best friend and the reason why I named my other dog Snoopy is because Snoopy is Charlie Browns dog and Snoopy is my 2nd favorite character.
